Winter is coming and nothing better to receive good advice to keep your skin healthy.

Water is essential to keep your skin looking fresh and bright but sometimes you need a little extra help.

 Coconut water is a favorite as it helps to rehydrate even more effectively than plain water as it contains more electrolytes. It’s used in our healthy drinks menu so if you haven’t tried it yet, give it a go.

When it comes to skin-friendly snacks, here are some of my favorites:

Pomegranates. A little sprinkle of pomegranate on a salad or yoghurt will provide you with free radical busting polyphenol antioxidants which regulate the skin’s blood flow, leaving you with an enviable rosiness.

Walnuts. Walnuts are the snack food of choice as they contain omega-3 essential fatty acids while the healthy levels of trace mineral copper boosts collagen production and can improve skin’s elasticity.

Peppers. Peppers are higher in vitamin C than most other fruits and vegetables and contain potent carotenoids that can reduce skin sensitivity to the sun.
